Hurray!
While doing a routine check in various V Planet-related directories on the hard drive, a list of e-mail addresses was recently found. Upon inspection the list of e-mails is discovered to be a list of people who have signed up for the original version of V Planet's mailing list! V Planet's mailing list, which had gone under two different revisions, had previously lost these previously signed up members when data was lost during the transition. Confirmation e-mails have now been manually sent to all the people found in this original list, in hopes of restoring members of the V Planet! Mailing List who are still interested in subscribing to the service. The V Planet Mailing List, which was started in January 2001 by Web Technician Jeremy Hammond, has provided means for the V Planet staff to help inform readers quickly about breaking QB news, site status, and inside information on game projects and V Planet sponsored QB events like the Gaming Gold Awards and the Annual Minigame competition.
